By 1939, a landing field was built in Palm Springs, California, for the United States Army to have PSP flight departures. This landing zone remained operating for more than two years until 1941 it was decided to build an airfield. For you to get to the Palm Springs airport on the outskirts of the city, you will have to take these means of public transportation:

  • Bus: You can take route 24 into the city center, taking you to the airport in less than an hour for Palm Springs flight departures. These routes have stops in Kirk Douglas, Tahquitz, and lastly, in Civid.
