Nashville International Airport is a popular public/military airport located in the south-eastern section in the Nashville, Tennessee. This airport was successfully established in 1937 with the original name Berry Field to have its first Nashville flight departures. ICAO and IATA identifiers of the Nashville International Airport are derived from its original name. The current terminal of this airport was built in 1987. The current Nashville International Airport name was named in 1988. This airport has four runways for its Nashville BNA departures.

Directions: to downtown is about 8 miles and 10-15 minutes driving depending on traffic. If you drive off the airport grounds, keep left and stay on Terminal Dr. Follow I-40 W. Take Exit 210C from I-40 W for 5.3 miles. Merge onto I-40 W and keep right and stay on I-40 W for 2.1 miles. Keep left at the fork, stay on I-40 W and follow signs for Huntsville/Memphis/Interstate 65 S. Take exit 210C toward US-31A S/US-41A S/2nd Ave/4th Ave. Take Elm St to 6th Ave S. Follow the middle lane to turn right onto 2nd Ave S and arrive downtown.

Terminal Lot A is located just behind the garages and the rental car facility. This is long-term parking where you can walk to the terminal in 15 minutes. This costs $18 per day. It can be a little cheaper at Economy Lot B and C. It is just a little further, but there is a free shuttle service available that takes you from the location to the terminal and back when you get home.
Passenger pick up and drop off is possible just in front of the terminal. However, you are not allowed to stay there and you will have to leave immediately. For a pick-up it is therefore useful to use the free Cell Phone Waiting Lot or to park in the garage. At a drop off you can simply continue driving quickly.
