Terminal CVG Airport
There is a single terminal and two Concourses at the airport, with 50 gates in total for all Cincinnati flight arrivals. Both are islands and can be reached only by underground movement. Concourse A consists of 22 gates and Concourse B consists of 28 gates. All international visits without prior permission are handled at Concourse B for CVG arrivals. The Delta Sky Club is also available.

When you experience arrivals at the airport you will collect your luggage at Mid-Level. After baggage claim you could walk directly to Ground Transport East or West. Another option is the Rental Car Center.

Ground Transportation at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport
- Directions to Oxford Ohio: Get onto I-275 W. Continue on I-275 W to Harrison. Take Exit 1 from I-74/US-52 W. Take California Rd and OH-732 N to your destination in Oxford.
- Directions to downtown Cincinnati: Get on I-275 E and continue on I-275 E. Take I-71 N to Second St W in Cincinnati. Take the I-71 N exit. Take Elm St to W 4th St to arrive downtown.
Many ways to reach Cincinnati and other parts of the larger Metro region are available after CVG airport arrivals.
Taxis and Ride Share: Taxis are provided for the transport of passengers from the Door 5 near baggage claim with a 24-hour service. You must be careful to book cars that are accessible to the disabled beforehand. Lyft and Uber are currently licensed two right-of-way operations with Kentucky airport arrivals.
Public Transportation: Buses run from the east side of the baggage compartment to North Kentucky International Airport from Cincinnati and Kentucky cities. North Kentucky Bus services operate from the east and run from Kentucky towns with Cincinnati arrivals. The service is offered daily at one-way rides from 5 am to midnight for $1.50.
Whenever visitors go into the high metro area, there are additional ways once in the city. Another option to get between downtown Cincinnati Riverside and the historic Over-the-Rhein District is on the Cincinnati Bell Connector Streetcar.
Car Rental: Where in the past you had to take a shuttle bus to the CVG Rental Car Center, this is now part of the terminal. The pick up and drop off is now also within walking distance. After arrival you can now travel much faster after baggage claim. The Car Rental Center is located at Ground Transport West. All counters for registration or administration are on the first floor. All rental cars are spread over different floors, depending on which agency you book a car determines where you need to be. Some car rental companies: Hertz, Alamo, Sixt, Budget, Thrifty, Enterprise, Avis and a few others.
Parking
As you can see in the picture, there are several options for parking your car. Please note that you can only pay by credit card.
- Valet Parking: leave the car near the terminal. This costs $30 per day.
- Premium Reserved Parking: this is possible in the large garage in front of the terminal. With a daily rate of $22 you can park on C level at rows 28-29. Walk quickly into the terminal where you are directly at ticketing level.
- General Parking: this is also in the garage but on all other floors/locations. This is slightly cheaper at $18 per day. This is a perfect short term parking option.
- ValuPark: a little further afield with a daily rate of $11. There is a shuttle to/from Ground Transport West.
- Economy Lot: This long term parking is the cheapest option at $9. A free shuttle is also offered here. See the location in the image below.

In 2005 there were still more than 22 million passengers. After the bankruptcy of Delta, many flights were canceled in the following years. In 2019 there were still 9 million passengers, but in the pandemic this has fallen even further in 2020 to 3.6 million CVG arrivals. Last year were 6,3 million passengers at the airport.
Hotel
The hotel just in front of the Cincinnati Airport terminal is DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. This 3-star hotel not only has an excellent location but also facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness and bar. A free airport shuttle is also available. The hotel also gets very good reviews in Google and on Booking.com. Another option is to stay just north of the airport in a hotel around Petersburg Rd near Comfort Suites Cincinnati Airport or Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cincinnati Airport, KY. East there are also a few options and many more in Cincinnati South area.
