Istanbul Ataturk Airport (IATA abbreviation: ISL) was the largest airport in Istanbul and Turkey until it moved in 2019 to it’s new airport IST. More than 67 million people made in 2018 at the airport, making it the fourth spot in the top 10 busiest airports in Europe state. Since all the passenger flights went to the new airport there are only cargo and vip flights at the airport. All the cargo flights are served by Turkish Airlines with destinations to Frankfurt, Baghdad, Maastricht, Dhaka, Toronto, Paris, Colombo, Guangzhou, Entebbe, Milan, Cologne, Leipzig/Halle, Atlanta, Houston, Nairobi, Amman, Dubai, Almaty, Madrid, Oslo and many more.

It has two passenger terminals, the airport; Terminal one for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights. It is a few minutes walk between the terminals.
