About Tenerife South airport departures
Tenerife South Airport is of course located in the south on the island of Tenerife. This is a Spanish island which belongs to the Canary Islands and is located off the coast of Morocco. It is the busiest airport in the archipelago with many flights from northwestern Europe. It is a popular holiday destination for both summer and winter. Get from Tenerife South Airport to Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Los Cristianos, Playa de las Américas and Costa Adeje:
- Bus: buses run by public transport company TITSA on Tenerife. Bus line 111 has Tenerife south departures with connections to the cities of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje. The bus has every 30 minutes Tenerife departures outside the terminal. From Tenerife South Airport you can take bus line 111 in two directions, one in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and one in the direction of Costa Adeje. Santa Cruz de Tenerife can be reached in 55 minutes while a bus ride to the resorts of Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje takes no longer than 25 minutes. Playa de las Américas can also be reached by bus line 111.
Another option to travel on the island is by taxi. These prices are metered. Make sure the taxi has an indication with SP which official taxis are. There should also be a green light in the window or roof. They are ready for departure outside the terminal on Floor 0. If you want to travel to the city of Santa Cruz then you have to take into account 100 euros. The nightly rate is 10 percent more expensive. Other popular destinations include Costa Adeje, Playa de Las Americas, Puerto de la Cruz and Los Gigantes.
