About Tenerife North Airport departures

The airport is also called Tenerife North – Ciudad de La Laguna Airport. This airport is the smaller version compared to Tenerife South Airport. The airport is located on the island of Tenerife in Spain. The location where it is now located has been in use since 1978 for the first Tenerife flight departures. Since then improvements have been made including a new terminal in 2002.

Travel to/from Tenerife North Airport
  • Bus: there are Tenerife North departures with bus line 102 and you will go to San Cristóbal de La Laguna and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The bus ride to and from Santa Cruz de Tenerife takes around 25 minutes. Tickets are available from the bus driver. Bus line 102 has every 30 minutes TFN airport departures in two directions (Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Puerto de la Cruz). The journey time from Tenerife North Airport to Puerto de la Cruz is 40 minutes.
  • Taxi: if you want to be more flexible and less price dependent then the taxi would be a great option. Those are ready when walking out of the arrivals hall.
