Rabat-Sale Airport (IATA: RBA) is an air terminal for public and military use to have Rabat airport arrivals. It is close to Rabat, the capital of Morocco. The Rabat-Sale airport is in the city of Salé and serves the city of Rabat. It is located 8 km (5 miles) northeast of Rabat, the capital of Morocco. And it’s 90 km (56 miles) northeast of Casablanca. This airport has 3,900 square meters and can receive up to 3,500,000 passengers a year which is increasing Rabat arrivals constantly.

It houses the first Air Base of the Royal Moroccan Air Force. In 2007, they moved 260,992 passengers and 1,237.35 tons of cargo. So to date, it increased at least tenfold.

Terminal

The Rabat-Sale airport has a single modern 2-story terminal that was inaugurated on January 20, 2012 to have its first RBA airport arrivals. With this new Terminal 1, the old terminal that was always called Terminal 2 was closed for Rabat Sale airport arrivals. This new terminal has 16,000 square meters and has a maximum capacity of 3.5 million passengers per year.

It has a larger capacity than the old terminal building so more square meters to process the RBA arrivals. The public area of departures, arrivals, and check-in offers banks, car rental agencies, ATMs, cafeteria, bar, small kiosks, and telephone and fax service.

This terminal in its departure hall offers its passengers duty-free shops, bathrooms, telephones, a smoking lounge, a café-bar, and much more. There are also some shops at the Rabat airport arrivals hall.
