Tokyo Narita Airport latest technologies

Narita International has made the headlines due to the facial recognition technology deployed on a trial basis at the airport before you have NRT departures. Once implemented successfully, passengers would soon be able to use Face Express for registering their facial image and then proceed through various checkpoints and boarding gates without showing their boarding pass or other documents. Such touchless technology has the potential to speed up the boarding process in the post-pandemic world. The technology will offer a layer of safety to passengers.
