About Yerevan Zvartnots International Airport arrivals
It is the country’s largest and busiest airport. This is the main gateway to enter Armenia when traveling by air. The location of the airport is about 9 miles west of the city Yerevan, Armenia. With the first flights in 1961 it all started. It took two decades for the first renovations to take place. This was necessary to meet the demand for flights to Russia. Armenia declared independence later in the 1990’s. Since then, the cargo has grown considerably after a special cargo terminal was built. In 2006, a major renovation of the terminal took place. You can get there with the express bus service that has Zvartnots Airport arrivals every half hour. The cost of this route from the center is 300 AMD (0,50 euro).
