Tirana airport Terminal
The terminal of the airport is relatively new. This allowed the airport to grow considerably from 1 to eventually 3 million passengers. There is also a cargo building. The terminal is easy to reach. If you are standing in front of the terminal you can walk right in. You enter the check-in hall where you can check in at the counter, but there is also a self check-in. Then you go through the security channel and after boarding your flight can start. For arrivals you come in the same hall as departure. You can only go to the Arrivals Hall after arrival. There is the baggage claim area. Then you go out through security.
After arrival you can continue your journey by car or bus. Taxis are waiting outside the terminal to take you to your final destination. You could also rent a car. There are various counters and companies where this is possible. If you want to travel to the center of the capital, you should take into account 30 minutes without delay. Traveling by public transport is also an option. It travels to the center from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
