About Mazar E Sharif airport arrivals
With the first Mazar-i-Sharif departures in the 1960’s, the airport began operations during the Cold War. A few years later, the first Mazar-i-Sharif flight departures were with tourists. With improvements to the runway that can land and take off the largest passenger and cargo flights in the world, a new terminal has also been built. Since then, it has also been referred to as Maulana Jalaluddin Balkhi International Airport. There are mainly flights with Kam Air that fly to Kabul. When the pandemic is over, there will be more international Mazar-i-Sharif airport departures with routes to Istanbul with Turkisch Airlines but also with Ariana Afghan Airlines which will also fly to Ankara, Kabul and Moscow. Other destinations for Kam Air are Delhi, Mashhad, Tehran-Imam Khomeini and Peshawar.
