Caracas Simón Bolívar International Airport
The Venezuelan capital Caracas airport full name Simón Bolívar International Airport, but is best known as Maiquetia, to where it is popularly called. There are two terminals (domestic and international) within walking distance of each other, but there is also a shuttle bus between the two buildings.

There is no train connection with the Caracas airport.
Car and bus
Caracas airport is 21 kilometers northwest of the city center. From the airport, the Venezuelan capital easily accessible by car. First, you follow the signs to Autopista / Caracas (the autopista is a toll road). Then drive through two tunnels (Boquerón I and Boquerón II). then bear left when the third tunnel (La Planicie) encounter direction Petare.
From the bus station opposite the two terminal buildings buses depart from UCAM (Tel: +58 (0) 212 352 4818) to the center of Caracas. The journey takes 40-50 minutes.

In the Arrivals Hall of both terminals there is a counter for car rental.
